About Us

We're Tradewinds & The Galley - Elkhart LLC, a premier restaurant serving Elkhart, IN since 2019. We offer 50 beers on tap with a full bar & daily drink specials. We serve breakfast, lunch & dinner all day everyday including a variety of delicious appetizers, fresh salads, sandwiches & burgers. We have recently renovated and also added in a new high end spirits bar & game room. Offering darts, pool tables, shuffle board, skee ball & more. Every Friday in the fall we have live music and during the summer we have our Galley Tiki Club- Volleyball leagues. Our restaurant is equipped with big screen TVs to make dining out with friends an exciting affair. We're looking forward to partnering with Goshen, Mishawaka, South Bend, Osceola, & surrounding area consumers to continue providing the community with an exceptional dining experience. Our Story

Tradewinds & The Galley - Elkhart LLC is proud to be serving excellent food and offering a fun and relaxing environment to the Elkhart community to enjoy. This family business has been through a lot of change over the years including Kelly Nelson buying Tradewinds Restaurant in 1990, followed by her son Steve Nelson taking it off her hands in 1998, and Jason Reynolds was brought on board as an operating partner in 2007. The team was able to open The Galley and over the past 15 years the business has continued to expand its menu and list of activities to provide customers with truly memorable experiences.

We serve great menu options to satisfy your cravings, including all day breakfast as well as lunch and dinner dishes. Catering is available for large and small events such as weddings, business meetings, and more. For our patrons over the age of 21, we offer a fully stocked bar with over 50 beers on tap, wine and cocktails available, as well as a tiki bar offering Coke, Pepsi, and alcoholic drinks.

Among the expanding list of available activities includes darts, pool, sand-volleyball matches and leagues, and we feature live music every Friday. Here at Tradewinds & The Galley, we pride ourselves on creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for our customers to enjoy there breakfast lunch, or dinner surrounded by your closest friends and family members. Along with our indoor dining room, we have an enclosed porch for you to enjoy your delicious meal in a comfortable environment during any season.
